The music industry has a lot of famous faces, however, being famous just for the songs that you put out there isn’t exactly always enough for you to be relevant. This is especially when you want to last in the industry for decades.
Some musicians try other things such as getting into the film or TV industry or try their luck in the business world. It is also important to be on social media nowadays especially if you’re always on it and casually updating it almost every single day. This would just constantly remind people that you are worth being on the trends.
Some musicians choose to do all of them, just like one of the most influential musicians of all time, Rihanna. For over the last 10 years, she has been one of the most successful singers as well as one of the best-selling artists of all time. She even broke the record of being the youngest musician to ever have fourteen number one hit singles on Billboard Hot 100. With twelve American Music Awards as well as Billboard Music Awards together with her nine Grammy, she had definitely dominated the music industry over the years.
Her music career is not the only thing that is making her fly high nowadays, that is because she has also been involved in the fashion industry. In fact just last year, she introduced her own cosmetics company known as Fenty Beauty, that offers products such as foundations, bronzers, highlighters, and more. Rihanna has also been chosen to be the cover of not just one, but two Vogue magazines this year.
Vogue 2x In 2018
A few months ago, Vogue released their June issue with Rihanna on the cover. The cover was obviously beautiful with a somewhat natural yet sultry makeup to look that she has we all as some silver hoops and bracelet, that was matching with her sparkly sequined top. Turns out that the issue was actually full of some words of encouragement and inspiration from the singer.
Rihanna mentioned how despite her busy schedule, she always makes sure that she has time for herself, especially when taking a break mentally. She revealed that she usually just take some time away from her phone and live in the moment.
She also revealed that you can never be just one thing. People need to grow and evolve, but it doesn’t mean that you need to change who you are. This is what she has she has done over the years. She tried exploring all the things she can do aside from doing music, now she’s doing films just like the most recent on which is Ocean’s 8. The 30-year-old singer is also now in the business world with Fenty Beauty which is her makeup line, as well as Savage x Fenty which is a new lingerie line.
On the September Issue of the British Vogue magazine, it was a totally different theme. That is because it was nothing but all out with her avante-garde transformation that she even ditched her natural looking brows to an incredible thin one.
Ditch The Brows
It was indeed all about ruffles and floral headpieces. The singer looked intensely at the camera for the cover with a glossy plum pouty lips and darkish natural looking shadows on her eyes. However, what most people were totally surprised about was when they saw Rihanna’s extremely thin brows. That is totally different from her usually natural looking thick arches, but those thin brows are something not everyone can pull of, as usual, she managed to make it look good.
In the interview with the said magazine, people have noticed that she has put on some weight since she now has a fuller figure compared to years ago. The singer just said that she does want to get back to the gym but she just can’t lose her natural curves, which is why she is just happy and embracing her figure now, which is what every woman should do.
When asked about her love life, the singer dodged the question by saying that people should accept a person with who they are. People do change especially once you get to know them, expectations always tend to lead to disappointments. The September Issue of Vogue UK is now always on newsstands as well as on digital download.
